The Society of Photographers Malaysia (SPM) is proud to announce its 5th national tour Photography Exhibition, Co-organised with Terengganu Buddhist Art & Artifacts Centre, which will be held from July 14th to July 28th, 2023 in Kuala Terengganu.
The exhibition will feature a total of 166 pieces of artfully crafted and stunningly beautiful photographs that are sure to capture the imagination of all who view them. Each photograph has been carefully curated and selected for its artistic merit, technical proficiency, and aesthetic appeal. Visitors can expect to see a diverse range of photographic styles and themes, including landscape photography, portrait photography, street photography, and many more.

In addition to the exhibition, the organizers of the SPM’s national tour Photography Exhibition have also planned an exciting 3-day, 2-night program of photography activities that will take place in conjunction with the exhibition.
This program will offer participants a unique opportunity to further develop their photography skills and explore the beauty of the city of Kuala Terengganu. The program will include landscape photography sessions during sunrise and sunset, allowing participants to capture the natural beauty of the surrounding area in the best light possible.

In addition to the exhibition and the 3-day, 2-night program of photography activities, the organizers of the SPM’s national tour Photography Exhibition have also planned two sharing talk sessions.
The first session will focus on macro photography, which is the art of capturing small objects and details at a high magnification ratio. Macro photography can reveal intricate details that are often hidden to the naked eye, and can produce stunning and mesmerizing images. During this session, experienced photographers will share their knowledge and expertise on how to master the art of macro photography, including tips and techniques for lighting, composition, and focus.

TThe second session will focus on night astrophotography, which is the art of capturing the beauty of the night sky, including stars, planets, and other celestial objects. This type of photography requires special equipment, knowledge, and techniques, and can produce stunning and mesmerizing images that reveal the beauty and mystery of the universe. During this session, experienced photographers will share their knowledge and expertise on how to master the art of night astrophotography, including tips and techniques for equipment selection, exposure settings, and post-processing. These sharing talk sessions are a wonderful opportunity for photography enthusiasts to learn from experienced photographers, to ask questions, and to connect with other like-minded individuals. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer, these sessions are sure to provide you with valuable insights and inspiration to take your photography skills to the next level.
